<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and precisely measure the amount of radioactivity of all radioactive wastes stored in a square type storage container. <P>SOLUTION: A radioactivity measuring device includes: a slide movement part 3 which relatively slides and moves a storage container 100 and respective radioactivity detection parts 2 in direction orthogonal to two mutually opposite planes of the storage container 100 in a state in which the radioactivity detection parts 2 are arranged on four planes of the storage container 100 other than the two planes at the same interval; a rotational movement part 4 which rotates the storage container 100 by 90° on an axis perpendicular to two predetermined mutually opposite planes among the four planes of the storage container 100; and a radioactivity amount calculation part 5 which inputs amounts of radioactivity emitted from the respective six planes of the storage container 100 by the slide movement by the slide movement part 3 and the slide movement by the slide movement part 3 after rotational movement by the rotational movement part 4, and averages the amounts of radioactivity to calculate the amount of radioactivity of all the radioactive wastes. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
