<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for predicting movement of chemical substances in soil gas, a method for calculating a removal period of chemical substances in soil gas, and a method for determining disposition of a suction well for removal of chemical substances in soil gas. <P>SOLUTION: In a method for predicting movement of chemical substances in soil gas, Q<SB POS="POST">m</SB>D<SB POS="POST">12</SB>, Q<SB POS="POST">p</SB>D<SB POS="POST">1</SB>, Q<SB POS="POST">p</SB>D<SB POS="POST">2</SB>, and/or m<SB POS="POST">11</SB>obtained by a one-dimensional column experiment are used to solve an advective-dispersive equation of a gas component 1. In a method for calculating a removal period of chemical substances in soil gas, a period in which a concentration of a specific gas component in soil reaches a prescribed concentration is calculated by the method for predicting movement of chemical substances in soil gas. In a method for determining disposition of a suction well for removal of chemical substances in soil gas, a case where the gas component reaches the prescribed concentration in the shortest period is selected to determine disposition of the suction well. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
