<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple and quick detection means for Pandemic (H1N1) 2009 in distinction from other human A type influenza viruses. <P>SOLUTION: An antibody or an antigen-binding fragment thereof bound to a nucleoprotein of which the 289th amino acid is histidine out of nucleoproteins of A type influenza viruses via an antigen-antibody reaction, and not substantially bound to a nucleoprotein of which the 289th amino acid is tyrosine, is provided. In nearly all strains of A type influenza viruses, the 289th amino acid is tyrosine except for Pandemic (H1N1) 2009, and variation thereof to histidine is variation characteristic of Pandemic (H1N1) 2009. Consequently Pandemic (H1N1) 2009 is simply and quickly detected in distinction from other A type influenza viruses by using the antibody or the antigen-binding fragment. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
