摘要 The disclosed method for assaying fibroblast growth factor-23 (FGF-23) in a sample involves (1) a step for reacting in an aqueous medium the FGF-23 in the sample with magnetic particles, a first antibody which binds to FGF-23, or a fragment thereof, and a second antibody binding to FGF-23, or a fragment thereof, to generate on the magnetic particles immune complexes comprising the first antibody which binds to FGF-23, or a fragment thereof, FGF-23, and the second antibody which binds to FGF-23, or a fragment thereof, (2) a step for collecting by magnetic force the magnetic particles in the reaction mixture after step (1) and separating the magnetic particles collected by the magnetic force from the other components, and (3) a step for assaying the immune complexes on the magnetic particles separated in step (2). By this means, the disclosed method of assaying FGF-23 in a sample has high sensitivity and a wide assay range.
