The synchronization assembly has two synchronous rings (30) including drivers (34). Thrust pieces (42) are arranged between the drivers in a freely displaceable manner. Presynchronization bevels are arranged on a radial outer-lying surface of the thrust pieces. The thrust pieces include two wedge surfaces in cooperation with the drivers. A locking element locks the thrust piece at the drivers. The thrust pieces include locking surfaces arranged on opposite sides of the thrust pieces. The drivers extend via recesses (36) of a transmitter.
