SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR MONITORING HEALTH OF ELECTRICAL MACHINES

PURPOSE: A system for monitoring health of an electric machine and a method thereof are provided to easily and rapidly monitor the health of the electric machine in order to evaluate the state of the electric machine. CONSTITUTION: A sensor element(34) is arranged or buried on a substrate element located within a stator core. A measurement subsystem(36) is combined with the sensor element. The measurement subsystem monitors health of an electric machine based on electromagnetic property variations of a sensor element due to change of substrate element compression or force applied to the substrate element.
