<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an objective lens for optical pickup capable of suppressing deterioration due to transmission of laser beams and to provide an optical pickup device equipped with the objective lens for optical pickup. <P>SOLUTION: The objective lens for optical pickup comprises: a light source side lens surface 11 for converging a laser beam; and a disk side lens surface 12 for additionally converging the laser beam converged at the light source side lens surface 11. Here, the light source side lens surface 11 and the disk side lens surface 12 are set so that a projection area S1 of the light source side lens surface 11 and a projection area S2 of the disk side lens surface 12 satisfy S1/S2≤2.0 when viewed in an optical axis direction of the objective lens 10. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
