<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging device capable of achieving innovative expression to improve the appearance of display. <P>SOLUTION: An imaging device 1 includes: a polarization filter 21 for reflecting, as first linearly polarized light, light of a polarization direction component perpendicular to a transmission axis of incident first display light 13, and reflecting, as second linearly polarized light, light of a polarization direction component perpendicular to a transmission axis of incident second display light 33; and a retro-reflection part for changing a polarization direction of the incident first linearly polarized light and retro-reflecting the light having the changed polarization direction as third linearly polarized light having a polarization direction perpendicular to the polarization direction of the first linearly polarized light. In the imaging device 1, the third linearly polarized light reflected by the retro-reflection part transmits through the polarization filter 21 to form a real image 40 representing a first display image 12 on the top face side of the polarization filter 21, and the second linearly polarized light reflected by the polarization filter 21 forms a virtual image 50 representing a second display image 32 on the back face side of the polarization filter 21. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
