<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To have an equal lightness or a reduced lightness difference between a center part and a peripheral part of a radiation image. <P>SOLUTION: A radiation detector includes: a photoelectric conversion substrate 11 where a pixel area 13 is formed by arranging pixels 16 in two dimensions at equal intervals, and photoelectric conversion elements 12 receiving visible light are arranged in each of the pixels; and a scintillator layer 14 arranged on the photoelectric conversion substrate 11 to convert radiation into visible light. A light reception area of the photoelectric conversion elements 12 increases as it approaches from a center part 13a towards a peripheral part 13b of the pixel area 13. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
