<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wire stripper which can prevent a coating from being left without being stripped even when a cut depth by a cutter is reduced to prevent the occurence of a scratch of a core wire, drawing out of the core wire, and breakage of the core wire. <P>SOLUTION: The wire stripper comprises: wire holding means 3 which holds wire 30 with which a core wire 32 is coated; cutter driving means 6 which makes cutters 4 and 5 cut a coating 31 of the wire 30; and cutter moving means 7 which moves the cutter driving means 6 to a wire terminal side with respect to the wire holding means 3. A reciprocating rod 7a of the cutter moving means 7 is connected to the cutter driving means 6 through a runup mechanism 9. The runup mechanism 9 has a structure including an engaging part 7c provided on the rod 7a and an engaged part 10a which is fixed to the cutter driving means 6 and is engaged to the engaging part 7c of the rod 7a when the rod 7a is moved to the wire terminal side by only a predetermined runup interval. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
