PURPOSE: An electro gas welding device having two electrodes for a thick plate and a welding method using the same are provided to improve the welding speed of electro gas welding by using two electrodes or welding wires. CONSTITUTION: An electro gas welding device having two electrodes for a thick plate comprises a rail(102), a welding carriage(100), a copper shoe(110), a first welding torch(120), and a second welding torch(130). The rail is installed in a base material. The welding carriage is ascended and descended along the rail. The copper shoe is installed in one side of the welding carriage and supports molten metal. The first welding torch is connected to front and rear weavers and is oscillated back and forth. The second welding torch is connected to left and right weavers and is horizontally weaved.
