The electric signal transmission switch (10) has an electric actuating unit provided with a plunger (13) and a snap disc (14). The plunger is connected to the snap disc for actuating the snap disc. A resilient layer made of silicone or rubber, is formed at the side of plunger opposite to the side of snap disc. An elastomer covering (15) is provided on the snap disc so as to cover the snap disc.
