<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light source device in which overheating of liquid fiber to constitute a light guide can be suppressed, and by this, light can be supplied without causing adverse effects due to heating of the liquid fiber. <P>SOLUTION: In the light source device, the light source and the light guide are held respectively at a light source holding part and a light guide holding part in a cabinet made of metal. In the interior of the cabinet, a cylindrical light shielding body fixed to the cabinet which is held by a support body for the light shielding body is equipped to surround an optical path from the light source up to the light guide. The light guide is composed of the liquid fiber, an infrared ray cut filter is installed at the light shielding body so as to be positioned on the optical path. In the support body for the light shielding body and the cabinet, by means that a heat insulating material part consisting of a heat insulating material is interposed between the light shielding body and the light guide holding part, the light shielding body and the light guide holding part are thermally insulated with each other. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
