Biologically active polyamide network and process for its production

The polyamide network is biologically active and can be introduced into the body by a surgical operation. The network contains 0.1-0.5% of an antibacterial product. It is knotted or braided from polyamide fibres having a thickness of 5 to 10 tex and up to 500 turns per 1 metre and has a network cell size of 1.0-1.5x1.2-2.0 mm.
