PURPOSE: A device and method for enforcing an advertisement watching is provided to improve advertisement effect by inducing a user to watch an advertisement before providing a multimedia service. CONSTITUTION: If a content reproduction request is detected, it is determined whether the existence of common right object which is related to an RO(Right Object) to the requested content(710, 712). If the common RO exists, the information related with a plurality of contents and advertisement consumption are obtained from the common RO(713). The advertisement related with the content is reproduced based on the obtained information.
