PURPOSE: A multi-purpose street lamp post cover having a road guide function is provided to illuminate a road in the night time and show advertisements to pedestrians. CONSTITUTION: A multi-purpose street lamp post cover having a road guide function comprises a housing(10), a light guide plate(20), a light source, advertising paper(40), a transparent protection window(50), and a fixing unit(60). The housing surrounds the lower part of a street lamp post(80). The light guide plate is inserted in a mounting groove(11) formed on the front side of the housing and uniformly illuminates the entire advertising paper with the light from the light source. The light source is arranged on the side of the light guide plate and illuminates light to the light guide plate. The advertising paper, on which advertisement contents are printed on the front side thereof, is arranged in front of the light guide plate. The transparent protection window is arranged in front of the advertising paper and settled in a mounting groove(12) of the housing and has embossment on the exposed front side thereof in order to prevent illegal attachment. The fixing unit is coupled to the housing and fixes the transparent protection window on the mounting groove.
