PURPOSE: A pin diode limiter circuit of a transmitter is provided to reduce the influence of the power of a transmitter on a receiver by improving the performance of a limiter. CONSTITUTION: A diode limiter circuit comprises a DC blocking capacitor(701), a high power PIN diode(702), and a reactance(703) for blocking an RF(Radio Frequency) and passing a diode DC current. The diode limiter circuit comprises a PIN diode(704) having high attenuation, a transmission line(705) having 1/4 wavelength, a DC blocking capacitor(706), and an RF blocking reactance(707). The diode limiter circuit comprises a diode protection resistance(708), a detector(710), a directional coupler(712), and a first and second amplifiers(709,711). The first and the second amplifier can be a radio frequency amplifier and an operational amplifier. |
