<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for controlling fuel injection and ignition timing of an internal combustion engine by which the occurrence of knocking is suppressed, heat efficiency is enhanced, and thereby the high compression ratio of the internal combustion engine is achieved. <P>SOLUTION: In the method for controlling fuel injection and ignition timing of the internal combustion engine provided with a fuel injection valve for directly injecting fuel in a cylinder, the fuel injection and the ignition are each performed at least once before and after the compression top dead center. The fuel injection before the compression top dead center is set to a value at which the air-fuel ratio is lean, and the fuel injection after the compression top dead center is set to a value at which the air-fuel ratio is more rich than lean. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
