<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress increase in a circuit scale while maintaining impulse noise removing performance, when removing impulse noise from broadcast signals received by using antenna branches of a plurality of systems. <P>SOLUTION: A receiving device is constituted as follows: an MRC section synthesizes broadcast signals, which are received by a plurality of antennas respectively, on a frequency domain; a noise removal processing section converts the synthesized post-synthesization signal to a signal in a time domain; a waveform of impulse noise is estimated on the basis of the converted post-synthesization signal; and after the estimated waveform is smoothed, the impulse noise included in the post-synthesization signal is detected on the basis of the smoothed waveform. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
