<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for preparing a tissue-embedded frozen item which can be compactly stored without using a specific tool. <P>SOLUTION: The method for treating a tissue derived from an organism, which is embedded by an embedding agent for preparing frozen tissue slices includes: a step for filling a tissue slice and the embedding agent in a mold (preferably, a metal mold) for molding a tablet having such a size that a plurality of tablets can be stored in a cryopreservation vial and capable of identifying a direction; and a step for cooling the mold together with the filled object by cooling means (preferably, liquid nitrogen) to freeze and solidify the filled object and obtain a tissue-embedded frozen tablet molded so as to identify the direction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
