<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a card connector strong against drop impact and others. <P>SOLUTION: A card connector is provided with a contact 6 having one end supported by a fixing piece part 11 fixed to a mold case 1 and having the other end side integrally provided with an elastic spring piece part 9 extended from the fixing piece part 11 along the bottom surface of a card insertion part. In the mold case 1, a wall part 10 for spring piece regulation is installed in a position opposite to the elastic spring piece part 9, and in the elastic spring piece part 9, a deformation regulation part 17 is formed in a position at a distance from the fixing piece part 11. The wall part 10 for spring piece regulation is provided with a receiving part 23 in which the deformation regulation part 17 is slidable in the pushing direction and which is abutted so as to regulate the deformation of the elastic spring piece part 9 toward the side of a shield cover 2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
