<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a basic monolithic refractory for a lithium composite oxide heat treatment furnace that is used for joints of a lining furnace material of a firing furnace in which lithium vapor is generated, and that avoids, in the progress of sintering after monolithic refractory construction, densification phenomenon of joints and lithium vapor penetration phenomenon to joint parts due to densification, and to provide a lining structure of the furnace using the basic monolithic refractory. <P>SOLUTION: The basic monolithic refractory containing a refractory aggregate and a fire clay contains 96-99.5 mass% of a magnesia raw material as the refractory aggregate and a clay having an alkali metal oxide content of 1-5 mass% as the fire clay. Not less than 95 mass% of the refractory aggregate has a particle diameter of ≤0.3 mm and the refractory aggregate exhibits a cold bending strength after heating of ≥1.0 MPa. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
