<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a titanic separator for a fuel cell having a carbon layer covering a base material with excellent adhesion. <P>SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing a titanic separator for a fuel cell having a carbon layer made of carbon on a base material made of pure titanium or titanium alloy, comprises a carbon layer forming step S1 of forming the carbon layer on the base material by vapor phase film formation, and an intermediate layer forming step S2 of forming an intermediate layer made of titanium carbide between the base material and the carbon layer by applying heat treatment to the base material with the carbon layer formed thereon after the carbon layer forming step S1. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
