<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an intake part structure of a screw compressor body capable of reducing dispersion of intake capacity as much as possible. <P>SOLUTION: In a screw type compressor body 1 which includes a pair of male and female screw rotors 20, 30 rotating while meshing with each other, and a casing 10 formed with a cylinder 11 for rotatably housing the pair of screw rotors in a meshing condition, and in which a compression action space is defined by addendum flanks of the pair of male and female screw rotors 20, 30 and the inner wall of the cylinder 11 for housing the screw rotors therein, an intake passage 15 communicating with an intake 14 formed on the casing 10, and opened toward intake end faces 22, 32 of the pair of screw rotors 20, 30 to introduce a compression object fluid into the compression action space is formed in the casing 10, and at least peripheral parts of the intake end faces 22, 32 of both the pair of male and female screw rotors, preferably the entire surfaces thereof, are arranged in the intake passage 15. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
