<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To change a position and shape of a linear body in synchronization with user's movements and move a movable body along the linear body in a virtual two-dimensional space. <P>SOLUTION: In a game device 601, a display unit 602 shows a linear body positioned in a virtual two-dimensional space and a movable body moving in the virtual two-dimensional space on a screen. A detection unit 603 detects player's movements. A change unit 604 changes at least one of the position and shape of the linear body according to the detected movements. A determination unit 605 determines that, when a determination area set so as to include the position of the movable body crosses the linear body, the movable body comes in contact with the linear body.
