<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cutting device that can cut the binding end of a string with one hand by bringing the cutting device itself close to the binding end after binding packing. <P>SOLUTION: The cutting device of a string for binding the packing includes: a wound ball placing table on which the wound ball of the string for binding the packing is placed; a wound ball fixing projection which is installed in the center of the wound ball placing table; a cutter supporting prop which extends upward vertically from the end of the wound ball placing table; a cutter fixing tool which is fixed to the tip end of a cutter supporting beam with an inclination α of 5-15° with respect to a plane vertical to the center axis of the cutter supporting beam; and a cutter blade for cutting the string for the packing while being installed in the cutter fixing tool with a gradient β of 30-45° with respect to the horizontal direction. In the apex of a raised body in the upper part of a soft plastic sheet, there is provided a slit which imparts a constant stable restrictive force to the string for the purpose of facilitating drawing out and pulling back of the string and preventing the end of the string from being pulled into the wound ball of the string. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
