<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress a pitch of scanning lines and a deviation in scanning positions of the scanning lines formed on a face to be scanned by light beams emitted from each light-emitting point in an optical scanner simultaneously scanning the light beams emitted from a plurality of light-emitting points on the face to be scanned. <P>SOLUTION: In an optical scanner according to the present invention, a pitch of scanning lines and a deviation in a pitch of scanning lines between scanning positions of the scanning lines formed on a face to be scanned 10 are adjusted by a displacement of a second optical element 1 and a third optical element 2 in the optical axis direction of an optical system before optical deflecting means applied thereto and the displacement of at least one of the second optical element 1 and the third optical element 2 in the deflecting scanning vertical direction. Accordingly, refractive powers of both the second optical element and the third optical element can be suppressed by rendering the refractive powers of both the second optical element and the third optical element positive, an increase of diameter of a focused spot and a deterioration of a focused spot shape caused by assembling errors of the optical elements can be prevented and the pitch being approximate to the desired pitch of the scanning lines formed on the face to be scanned 10 can be obtained. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
