METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR SELF-ADAPTIVE PAGE LAYOUT

A method and apparatus for self-adaptive page layout are disclosed, which relate to the field of web-page design. The method involves: acquiring a screen display parameter, which is at least one parameter of follow parameters: screen resolution, size of browser window and type of browser used currently by a user; acquiring height and width of a page document in current page based on the screen display parameter; configuring height and width of variable area in the page document, based on the height and width of the page document and height and width of fixed area in the page document; adjusting location of the fixed area in the page document. The method can display same page contents in screens with different resolutions, browsers with different types and browser windows with different sizes, so as to facilitate users to view page contents and improve user experience.
