Provided is a vibration power generating element, which is provided with: a base substrate, which is provided with a supporting section, and a cantilever section swingably supported to the supporting section; and a power generating section, which is formed in the cantilever section, and which generates alternating-current power corresponding to swinging of the cantilever section. The power generating section has: a first piezoelectric conversion section and a second piezoelectric conversion section, which are disposed parallel to each other in areas that overlap the cantilever section on one surface of the base substrate; a common electrode, to which a lower electrode shared by the first piezoelectric conversion section and the second piezoelectric conversion section is electrically connected; and individual electrodes, to which the upper electrode of the first piezoelectric conversion section and that of the second piezoelectric conversion section are connected, respectively.
