The height-adjustable column structure has three telescopically displaceable columns such as an inner column (4), a central column (3) and an outer column (2). A locking lever (6) is arranged for locking the columns at two different positions and is provided with two eccentric portions (15,16) that are arranged parallel to the axis of the locking lever. The eccentric portion (15) is brought into press contact with the outside of the inner column, and eccentric portion (16) is brought into pressing contact with the inside of the outer column.
