PURPOSE: An access point estimation apparatus using the signal strength of a weighted average is provided to improve the accuracy of position measurement by constructing a database including the estimation information of an AP(Access Point) location. CONSTITUTION: A filtering unit(220) creates a filtering electric wave map. A lattice cell separation unit(230) creates a lattice electric wave map. A representative coordinate value mapping unit(240) maps the center value of each lattice cell to a representative coordinate value. A representative signal strength value mapping unit(250) maps each signal strength representative value to each lattice cell. A location estimation unit(270) estimates the location information of an AP including the same MAC(Media Access Control) address.
