The invention relates to mechanical engineering and can be used in manufacturing and operation of shock absorbers. The invention is aimed at improving shock absorber damping properties, the shock absorber of a transport vehicle comprises a bushing, a piston cover, a rod cover, a rod piston with seal, the bushing is embodied so that in a zone/zones adjoining the shock absorber covers, the inner bushing cavity comprises along the bushing length at least two adjacent sections and at each of the sections the bushing inner diameter along the section length (in the direction from the piston cover to the rod cover) decreases to the length of the minimum bushing inner diameter at this section and then increases to the value of bushing maximum inner diameter at this section. The technical result is a substantial increase of force counteracting the piston motion in the bushing in sections adjoining the shock absorbers covers; operating two lateral sealing surfaces when moving the piston in said sections. |
