METHOD FOR REPLACING MESSENGER WIRE

PURPOSE: A method for replacing a messenger wire is provided to construct an environmentally-friendly communication network by replacing a communication cable and the messenger wire in a distribution pole with an optical complex messenger wire including an optical fiber. CONSTITUTION: A plurality of sub connectors(20) are connected to hold a communication cable(3) in a messenger wire(2). The messenger wire is separated from the cable. The messenger wire is separated from a fixed part of a distribution pole. One end of the messenger wire is connected to an optical complex messenger wire(4) and the other thereof is connected to a driving reel. The messenger wire is wound around the driving reel and the optical complex messenger wire is located in an installation location of the messenger wire. The optical complex messenger wire is fixed to the distribution pole. A communication cable is connected to the optical complex messenger wire.
