The internal volume (14) of the bag (4) contains fibrous material (16) through which the airflow passes, before leaving through the surrounding filtration wall (15). The fibrous material has a novel form. It is made from one or more fibers in three-dimensional, matted arrangement. Each has a length exceeding 200 mm. The free volume of the fibrous mat (W) is 200 cm 3>or more. Up to 10 such mats may be present. They are made from hydroscopic material and the weight of each is 1-30 g.
