The control method of the printing apparatus includes: receiving an input signal (S102) from an input device; searching an output order (S104) corresponding to the input signal from the configuration information, wherein, the configuration information includes the correspondence relationship between the input signal and the output order; and sending the output order to the corresponding output device (S106). The control method can expand the function of the printing apparatus conveniently and with low cost.
