<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gaming system and a gaming device which reduce an economic burden on a game parlor introducing a game machine using the player's awarded points, and overcome the shortcoming that communication progresses while a receiving side does not receive data that ought to have sent from a sending side, when communication control is started again. <P>SOLUTION: A CU (card unit) connected to a P machine (gaming machine) using the awarded points, stores the number of game balls used for a game on the P machine. Information on the number of game balls added according to winning a prize or the like and the number of game balls subtracted according to a shot game ball is transmitted every 200 ms from the P machine to the CU. The CU receiving the information updates and stores the number of game balls. In recovery processing after power interruption on the CU side, when an SQN (sequence number) transmitted from the P machine is greater by 1 than an SQN backup stored in the CU, both of the last number of game balls and the current number of game balls which are transmitted from the P machine are used to correct the number of game balls. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
