<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine which can promptly and accurately achieve a stop of a reel, redetection of a rotational position and restart of the rotation of the reel, without causing an accidental disadvantage to a game parlor, when abnormalities such as malrotation of the reel and a power interruption occur during reel rotations. <P>SOLUTION: The Pachinko game machine is provided with: a reel unit having a plurality of reels, on periphery surfaces of which a plurality of patterns are formed, and having drive means; and a game control means. The Pachinko game machine is constituted to have a pattern alignment which can show a pattern certainly constituting a losing, and is constituted so as to detect the presence or absence of a detection piece provided for every reel at a reference position by a sensor.
