<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus to which an interchangeable lens can be mounted, and in which vibration generated on a box unit side and vibration generated on a frame unit side are not transmitted to each other, while the frame unit and the box unit are firmly fixed to each other so as to maintain positional accuracy between components. <P>SOLUTION: The imaging apparatus comprises a mount unit to which an interchangeable lens is mounted, a box unit with a mount-fixing surface to which the mount unit is fixed, and a frame unit as a skeleton structure.
