<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fire suppression system and a method of fire suppression. <P>SOLUTION: Reactive fire suppression transport agents are used to release catalytic fire suppression agents, in reaction zones, which are then transported by naturally occurring flows paths downstream to the vicinity of flame holding regions for fire suppression, for example, in aircraft.
