<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mop body member capable of improving cleaning workability in a handy mop and to provide a method of manufacturing the member. <P>SOLUTION: The mop body member for a handy mop has a soft feather-like dust wiping member 16 called "tow" adhered in nearly a round bar shape to a base material 11 in the entire periphery thereof and on the outer entirety on the tip end side thereof, the base material 11 including one or more bar-shaped insertion member receiving ports 12 and receiving groove 13 which are for freely attachably/detachably receiving bar-shaped insertion members 22 of a handle member 20 equipped with a grip 21 and one or more bar-shaped insertion members 22. The base material 11 is configured to have a rectangular base cloth 41 of a prescribed length which is folded in two and stuck with the tow 16 on one surface, wherein a small tongue-like receiving piece 24 is provided on the outer side of the bar-shaped insertion member receiving ports 12 which are formed in the folded superimposed part of one end 41A and the other end 41B of the base cloth 41. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
