<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely detect that another battery built-in device is set under such condition as a built-in battery of a battery built-in device is charged, and charge the built-in battery of the detected battery built-in device in succession. <P>SOLUTION: In a non-contact charging method, a power transmission coil 11 of a charging stand 10 is brought closer to a power reception coil 51 of a battery built-in device 50 to transfer electric power by a magnetic induction action for charging a built-in battery 52. In the non-contact charging method, a timing for charging the built-in battery 52 of the battery built-in device 50 includes a charge pause timing at which the transfer of electric power of the power transmission coil 11 is temporarily paused at a predetermined cycle. A charge timing for charging the built-in battery 52 and the charge pause timing are repeated for charging. At the charge pause timing in the non-contact charging method, presence of the battery built-in device 50 set on the charging stand 10 is detected. Upon detecting the battery built-in device 50, the built-in battery 52 of the detected battery built-in device 50 is charged in addition to the built-in battery 52 of the battery built-in device 50 which is being charged. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
