METHOD AND DEVICE FOR POWER HEADROOM REPORT

Disclosed are a method and a device for power headroom report (PHR). The method comprises: acquiring a maximum power reduction (MPR) generated by a user equipment (UE) when working under multiple carriers; calculating a UE-based PHR on the basis of a PHR calculation formula of the UE allocated and the MPR; reporting to a base station the UE PHR derived from the calculation. In the present invention, when working under multiple carriers, the UE performs the calculation of, and reports to the base station, the UE-based PHR, thus allowing the base station to be aware of the precise power headroom of the UE on the basis of the UE-based PHR received.
