<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a semiconductor type light source unit which is reduced in the number of components to reduce a manufacturing cost and to have a simple structure. <P>SOLUTION: The semiconductor type light source includes a heat radiating member 8 and a light source member mounted on the heat radiating member 8 with a base plate 3 made of an insulation member interposed. A fitting part 70 is provided on the heat radiating member 8 for fitting a light source unit 1 to a vehicular lamp 100. The light source member includes a light emitting chip 40 for a semiconductor type light source, a controlling element for controlling light emission of the light emitting chip 40, a wiring element for feeding power to the light emitting chip 40 through the controlling element, and a power feeding electrode 52 to be electrically connected to a power feeding member 92 of the vehicular lamp 100 when the light source unit 1 is fitted to the vehicular lamp 100 by the fitting part 70, and thereby the number of components can be reduced. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
