<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To more positively provide information concerning commodity marketing suitable to a user before the user browses the pages of individual commodities. <P>SOLUTION: A server receives the input of user ID data from a terminal, receives a commodity selected by the user and a level which indicates the purchase probability of the user for the commodity designated by the user with respect to the selected commodity, and stores the user ID, the commodity, and a weight determined in response to the level by association (S501). The server determines commodity selection similarity concerning the purchase probability of the commodity between users, based on the weight associated with the commodity.
