<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a toner suitable to fixation to a recording medium by using a fixation liquid but not limited to liquid development, to reduce power consumption of heating during fixation, to prevent image disturbance due to the fixation liquid, to prevent increase of power consumption required for drying and increase of time for fixation, and to prevent absurd influence to inner components and unevenness of an amount of fixation liquid coated on the recording medium. <P>SOLUTION: The fixation liquid contains a plasticizer for bringing the toner to a state suitable to fixation to the recording medium S by swelling and softening the toner. The fixation liquid is coated on the recording medium S before carrying a toner image. The toner image on the toner image carrier 11 is transferred to the recording medium S after coating the fixation liquid while making the toner image contact with the fixation liquid on the recording medium S. The toner image and the fixation liquid on the recording medium S are heated to bring the toner to the state for fixing the toner to the recording medium S. Coating means 41 of the fixation liquid uses a coating member 44 for coating the fixation liquid on the recording medium S and fixation liquid removing means 49 for removing the fixation liquid from the coating member 41. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
