<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently correct a deviation of a subject generated due to movement of an imaging device. <P>SOLUTION: An image processing device divides a target image into plural areas, and sets at least one area of the plural areas as a local area. Also, the image processing device calculates a coordinate transformation coefficient for each of the plural areas, and for at least one point of interest in the local area, respectively calculates correction amounts in a case of correcting a deviation in the target image using the coordinate transformation coefficients for the local area and an area neighboring the local area. Then, the image processing device determines whether the difference between the correction amount obtained from the coordinate transformation coefficient of the local area and the correction amount obtained from the coordinate transformation coefficient of the neighboring area falls within a predetermined limit amount. At this time, if the correction amount difference does not fall within the predetermined limit amount, the image processing device recalculates the coordinate transformation coefficient for each of the plural areas including the local area so that the correction amount difference falls within the predetermined limit amount, and corrects the target image for each area with the obtained new coordinate transformation coefficient. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
