<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a map information processing device capable of enhancing the efficiency of update information acquisition, by maintaining a scheduled update date for a road service to be started or abolished and acquiring updated information which shows the road service was started or abolished according to the scheduled update date. <P>SOLUTION: The device determines whether the update information acquisition is necessary or not, based on the date of a present time and the scheduled update date of the information to be updated stored in an information storage part 3, and updates the service information of map data acquired in a map data acquisition part 9, based on the acquired updated information. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
