PORE-PROTECTED MULTI-LAYERED COMPOSITE SEPARATOR AND THE METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING THE SAME

PURPOSE: A multi-layered composite porous film for protecting the pores of a polyolefin-based micro porous film and a method for manufacturing the same are provided to obtain superior permeability and a shut-down function by being applied with a polymer binder and an inorganic layer without the clogging phenomenon of pores. CONSTITUTION: A base for a micro porous film is selected. A polymer binder or an applying solution containing the polymer binder and inorganic particles is prepared. A solvent of 35 to 250 degrees Celsius of a boiling point is used to at least one side of the base. The pores of the micro porous film are protected. The applying solution is applied to the protected micro porous film. The solvent is eliminated from the solvent or the applying solution. A multi-layered composite porous film is manufactured.
