The device has sealing rings (13,14,15) carried on ring sections (10,11,12) of a connector console. The rings have outer jacket surfaces (19,20,21) wider than their inner jacket surfaces, to improve the sealing effect between the ring channels (23,24) in the console, and to reduce the friction connection with the inner wall (22) of the ring seal holder (16). The sealing rings pref. have a T-shaped profile, with a leg (25,26,27) forming a guide part locking into a groove (28,29,30) in the ring sections, and crossbars (31,32,33) forming the wider jacket surfaces.
