HANDRAIL BAR-LIKE MEMBER, METHOD FOR WORKING THE SAME, AND BENDING JIG FOR USE IN THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a handrail bar-like member with proper light resistance, having a metal skin layer, a method for working the same, and a bending jig for use in the same.

SOLUTION: A linear handrail bar-like member 1 is constituted by applying coating and finishing to a surface layer 2 formed like a pipe by bending a thin metal plate and welding it to a cylindrical base layer 3 made of a semirigid resin. The handrail bar-like member 1 is bent by means of a bending jig capable of bending a linear handrail which has the base layer inserted on a job site and which is set in recessed grooves of side surfaces of right and left side rollers and a holding roller.
